A. Maria Nanos, LCSW received her masters in social work at Jane Addams, University of Illinois. She has completed all course work toward her Ph.D in clinical social work from the Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago. Her clinical career began in 1987 and has focused on children and families of sexual abuse and neglect in Chicago. Ms. Nanos is a trained forensic interviewer and has had extensive experience in the investigation of child sexual abuse allegations and child welfare. Ms. Nanos teaches at Loyola University in the Master's program and has as a part time private practice. Ms Nanos has testified as an expert in child abuse cases and is a frequent presenter conferences and trainings throughout the Chicagoland area. In her capacity as the Associate Director Ms. Nanos will use her experience and administrative abilities to expand the programs to children and families.
